Teaching is for me a way of learning with others. I am deeply inspired by the educational philosophy of Paolo Freire to whom I was introduced by my friend and colleague Antonia Mills. Wherever I teach, I try to convey the purpose of anthropology as articulated by scholars, such as Tim Ingold. Ilarion Merculieff and others are pointing me to what it means to be a treaty person.
